Took advantage of the 4th of July weekend (USA, USA, USA!!) and went east to Seoraksan National Park. Kari finally got to see the "huge Buddha" from all of our books on Korea. Spent the weekend with the Freeborns and Kawans; it rained most of the time but cleared up on the day we left...how fitting. Kari wore a hat all weekend because the humidity was giving her a big ol' afro. We'll definitely be back there again, as we only got to see a small part of the park.
