Spent a little time at the beach, too, albeit the only sunny day we had was the day we left. That's the East Sea, or Sea of Japan depending on which country you're from. We had some "interesting" times trying to get food; there aren't too many people in these parts of Korea that speak any English. That all culminated in us getting about 8 pounds of sashimi (aka raw fish) for lunch one day. We ended up finding the "Ernest Hemingway Restaurant" on the beach...why there's a Hemingway themed restaurant in Korea is beyond us, but hey, they served cooked meat and beer so we're not complaining.
