So Sleepy...

There are few things funnier in this world than watching a baby try to stay awake but fail miserably. Katherine tries her hardest to fight it while Mommy and Daddy eat dinner, but it was to no avail.

Classic

This video is awesome for many reasons. First of all, it's of Caroline chasing a seagull. How could you not like that? Secondly, watch the unathletic kid in the background totally eat shit while trying to catch a football. Finally, enjoy watching his dejected father sulk as his dreams of having his son grow up to be an NFL star shatter right before your eyes. Ahh, other people's misery - priceless.

New Year's Eve on the Beach

We spent the afternoon of New Year's Eve on the beach at Hilton Head. What a great day!

21 month old kid + bucket + shovel + sand = hours of entertainment

Katie + goldfish snacks = hours of entertainment.
OK seriously, I'll stop with the Katie fat jokes.

"Umm, Mommy, when was the last time you went to the dentist?"

Check out my 2 teeeef!!

Daddy and Katie taking a leisurely stroll down to the water.

On to Hilton Head

After hanging out in Aiken (yes, glorious Aiken, birthplace of Daddy) we trundled down the road to Hilton Head to hang out with GiGi and Grandpa Jack, wrapping up our vacation in style near the beach.
OK, I know everyone thinks that their kids are the cutest, but seriously, ours is.
OUT OF MY WAY!

Mommy and C hanging out by the alligator infested lagoon. Just kidding. Actually there are 15 gators in this picture. Can you find them?

"This one is mine right? THIS ONE IS MINE...RIGHT?!?!"

Unwrapping Presents

If there's not something I can eat underneath all that wrapping, you can send it right back to Santa Claus.
OH GOOD, IT'S ELMO!!! He can stay.

Can Someone Tell Me Where December Went, Too?

I'll tell you where...all over the state of South Carolina. We ventured over to the other side of the US to spend time with family during the holidays. Food, alcohol and Santa Claus...now that's a vacation.

Caroline: "Man, that was a long trip. I can barely keep my eyes open"
Katie: "I'm so friggin wasted right now. Could someone just put the food directly into my mouth?"

With cousins Elizabeth and Will, fully engrossed with Baby Einstein. Parenting at its best.
Step 1: put video on
Step 2: put kids next to video
Step 3: get beer, ignore kids

Ham #1 and ham #2.
Minnie and Mickey Mouse? Oh boy!!

Mommy and Chunk. If Katie has a complex later in life, I guess she'll have the right to blame us.
